Server License Agreement

This Server License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "Licensee") and The Northern Block Ltd (the "Licensor") for the use of font software ("Font Software") on a server.

By downloading, installing, or using the Font Software on your server, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, you are not permitted to use the Font Software on your server.

1. Number of Users

The Font Software is licensed for use on a single server. This license covers the use of the font on one server for access by up to 5 domains or installations. If more domains or installations are required, additional licenses must be purchased.

2. Acceptable Uses

The Font Software may be used for the following purposes:

  • Web Hosting: You may use the font on a server for displaying the font on websites or web applications hosted on the server. This includes using the font for static or dynamic text on websites.

  • Internal Use: The font may be used for internal applications or systems hosted on the server, such as content management systems (CMS), intranets, or internal business platforms.

  • Public Web Applications: You may use the font on public-facing websites, including e-commerce platforms or online services, where the font is delivered via web technologies (e.g., @font-face, web fonts).

3. Unacceptable Uses

The Font Software may not be used for:

  • Non-Server Use: The font cannot be used for desktop, print, or other non-server-based applications unless the appropriate license (e.g., Desktop License) is obtained.

  • Resale or Redistribution: The font cannot be resold, sublicensed, or distributed as part of a service or product without explicit permission from the Licensor.

  • Extraction: The font cannot be embedded in a way that allows users to extract, download, or modify the font files. The font must be restricted to use within the licensed server environment.

  • Multiple Servers or Domains: If the font is to be used on multiple servers or websites, additional licenses must be purchased.

4. Font Installation

The Font Software may be installed on one server for use on multiple websites or applications, as long as the total number of domains or installations does not exceed the licensed limit of 5 domains. Additional licenses must be purchased if the font will be used on more than 5 domains or installations.

5. Third Party Usage

You may provide the Font Software to a third-party developer or web hosting provider working on your behalf, as long as:

  • They use the font exclusively for your project.

  • They agree to the terms of this Agreement.

  • They delete all copies of the font upon completion of the project.

You may not redistribute the Font Software to any other third parties.

6. Embedding the Font

You are permitted to embed the Font Software on your server for use on websites or web applications hosted on the server. However, the font cannot be embedded in a way that allows users to extract or modify the font files. It must remain part of the website or web application and cannot be accessible for download.

7. Modifications

You may modify the presentation of the font within your server-based projects, such as adjusting text size, color, and styling within websites or web applications. However, you may not modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Font Software itself without prior written consent from The Northern Block Ltd.

8. Ownership

All rights to the Font Software remain with The Northern Block Ltd. This license grants you the right to use the font on your server, but you do not acquire ownership of the Font Software itself.

9. Termination

This Agreement will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Font Software on your server and destroy all copies of the font.

10. Warranty and Liability

  • Warranty: The Licensor warrants that the Font Software will perform as expected for 30 days after installation. During this period, if any issues occur, you may contact the Licensor for support and resolution.

  • Limitation of Liability: The Licensor is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Font Software, including lost profits or business interruptions.

11. Redistribution

You may not redistribute the Font Software. The font is licensed solely for use on your server and may not be resold, transferred, or shared with others.

12. General Terms

  • Modifications: The Licensor reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement at any time. The Licensee is bound by the most current version of the Agreement.

  • Jurisdiction: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
